MEDIA PROJECTS AND VCE PROBLEM-SOLVING METHODOLOGY

The VCE Computing subjects have a focus on a way of working through a project called a Problem-solving methodology (PSM).

There are four main stages of a Computing project: Analysis, Design, Development and Evaluation

How the PSM relates to the way media projects are created:

Analysis - Create the Outline of what is required, including who the target audience is, and how their needs can be met

Design - Use design tools to build a Script and Storyboard - this prepares you fully for a successfully developed project

Development - The creation of the final piece of work, from Recording source material and Editing to the final Publishing

Evaluation - Find out if the main aims of the project were completed successfully by conducting a Review
